TransFair USA’s apparel program is making steady progress: several garment factories in India, Peru and Liberia are currently moving through the certification process. One factory seeking certification in Costa Rica had a Fair Trade training for workers at the beginning of July. The training was held at the CIA Textile facility which produces garments for Maggie’s Organics, a brand that offers a line of fair trade apparel for women as well as unisex tees.
