Fair Trade is available at thousands of stores around the United States. That doesn’t mean, however, that it’s necessarily available at your favorite store. This shouldn’t discourage you! The easiest step to take is to ask! Most (good) managers are open to listening to the concerns and suggestions of their customers, and most stores even have comment cards available for you to fill out. There’s certainly no harm done in asking, and the potential for getting the Fair Trade Certified products you love to buy in the store you love to shop at definitely makes it worth it!
